Acting for Book Trade Benevolent Society, Vista designed a new two-storey building comprising a community centre and offices on the ground floor and four residential flats on the first floor. In addition, 12 existing bungalows were extended and fully refurbished in two phases.

Our Building Consultancy department then carried out the project management role and acted as quantity surveyors and planning supervisors. We liaised with HM Customs and Excise to negotiate the majority of the project cost being zero-rated for VAT, as our client was a charity.

The overall contract value was approximately £1.2m.
